Mohammed Ali Ndume is a Nigerian politician and member of the House of Representatives of Nigeria from 2003 to 2011. He was elected senator of South Borno in April 2011 [1] .

Biography
Born around 1961 in the local government district of Gvozé . He graduated from the Kaduna Polytechnic University in Nigeria and the University of Toledo in the USA [1] . Until 2003, when Ndume began to engage in politics, he worked as a senior lecturer at the Polytechnic University of Ramata in the city of Maiduguri [1] .
As part of the All-Nigerian People's Party
In April 2003, he was elected representative of the federal constituency from Chibok, Gvozy and Damboa [1] . He was re-elected in April 2007. Ndume was also appointed as a minority leader of the House of Representatives [2] .
As part of the People's Democratic Party of Nigeria
In December 2010, Ndume became a member of the People's Democratic Party of Nigeria . His departure was a heavy blow for the All-American People’s Party, as Ndume was considered its main sponsor in South Borno [3] .
Terrorist Suspicions
Ndume joined the committee created by Goodluck Jonathan to negotiate with Boko Haram [4] . In November 2010, one of the arrested sect members said during interrogation that Mohammed Ndume paid them to send threatening messages [5] . November 21, 2011, according to the Nigerian newspaper Leadership ( Eng. Leadership (Nigeria) ), Ndume was arrested [6]
