River vessels in Kiev

A navigable river is a river on which ships can sail. This is often called a river with a certain status, which requires the following conditions to be met:

  • bridges have a certain height or have draw sections ;
  • if necessary, regular dredging is carried out to maintain a certain depth.

For tourists, the term "navigable river" means the possibility of passing along the river in a small non-motorized boat without artificial changes in design.
