Čačinci ( Croatian Čačinci ) is a community with a center in the village of the same name in the north-east of Croatia , in the Virovitice-Podravsk County . The population of 2088 people in the village itself and 2775 people in the entire community ( 2011 ) [1] . The majority of the population are Croats (87%), Serbs - 8% [2] . The community includes, in addition to the Chatsintsy themselves, 11 more villages. Most of the population is employed in agriculture.

The village is located on the Podravinsky lowland in the eastern part of the County, near the border with the Osiecko-Baran County . South of the Chachintsy, the slopes of the hilly ridge Papuk begin , where a natural park is organized. 6 kilometers south-east of Čačintsev is the city of Orachovitsa . Slatina is located 15 km to the north-west, and Nasice is 15 km to the southeast.
The Кoprivnica - Osijek railway line (Slatina - Nasice section) passes through Chatsintsi. There is a railway platform of the same name. Also through the village passes the highway D2 Varazdin - Koprivnica - Osijek.
