Reviews and criticism
Ekaterina Aleeva, reviewing the collection "Contour maps for adults," writes:
The story “The Corner of Her Round House”, presented in the collection, cannot boast of the atmosphere. Trying to speak in it on behalf of a woman, Safarli rolled into melodramatic stamps, drenched in sweet syrup of vulgarity. Perhaps Safarli thought that he could turn one of the most popular stories unusual for the reader side. ... The image of the city is not too expressive: Istanbul plays such an insignificant role in the story that it is remembered only by two recipes of Turkish dishes that the heroine brings.
- Ekaterina Aleeva [1]
Safarli’s serious passion for cooking not only affects his work, but also made him the leading author of the culinary heading on Lady@Mail.ru.
