Andorra participated in the 2012 Summer Olympics , which took place in London ( UK ) from July 27 to August 12 , where it was represented by 6 athletes in four sports. At the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, the Andorran flag marksman marksman Joan Thomas Roca [1] , and at the closing ceremony - marathon runner Anthony Bernado .

At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Andorra again failed to win its first Olympic medal. As part of the Andorran team, we can distinguish the shooter and standard-bearer Joan Thomas Roca, who at the time of the competition turned 61 years old, although such a serious experience did not help the veteran. Athletics
The Andorran team won license B in the marathon, which gives the right to put one athlete in this discipline. Obtaining this license, Anthony Bernado crossed the finish line seventy-fourth with a result of 2: 28.34. In the women's competitions, Andorra was represented by the fifteen-year-old 100-meter runner Cristina Llovera , who showed the 18th result among thirty-two participants in the preliminary races, which did not allow her to get into the quarter-finals of the competition.
