After the reconstruction, the airfield began to comply with class 4C, according to the international classification of ICAO . The reconstructed Aksu Airport was opened in November 2011 . [3]

The project involves the construction of a 22-story multi-purpose building , combining the functions of an airport terminal, hotel and catering facilities. It is assumed that after putting the City Airport Terminal into operation, passengers will be able to check-in for flights in the city, and in case of cancellation or delay of flights, use the services of the hotel.
