Located 33 km northwest of the city of Makhachkala , on the railway line of the North Caucasus Railway .

History

The village was formed on the site of Temirgoye station of the Vladikavkaz railway. In 1919, members of the Dagestan Bolshevik underground, led by Ullub Buinaksky, were shot by White Guards near the station.
