Biography
He grew up without a father. In his youth, he experienced the strongest influence of Japanese and world protest movements of the late 1960s - early 1970s. He graduated from the Higher Technical School of Photography in Tokyo . Together with his wife he was engaged in producing films.

Hara creates movies of marginal heroes and extreme situations.
