Career
Club
Tom Amrein played for the Baltimore Club of the American Football League for 13 seasons. During this time, the team changed several names, and in 1942 it became known as " Baltimore Americans ." In 1940, the club won the US Open Cup, together with the Chicago Sparta team, because both matches of the cup final ended in a draw [1] .
In the national team
Tom Amrein was invited to the national team on the eve of the 1934 World Cup [2] , but did not play in the qualifying matches or at the tournament itself, where the US team was destined to hold only one meeting.
