Biography
1975 graduated from the Faculty of International Economics of the Moscow Finance Academy (MFA) with a degree in International Economics, Finance and Banking (now Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation ).
In the years 1974-1987. worked in senior positions at Vneshtorgbank of the USSR .
From 1985 to 1987 - Deputy General Director of the Vneshtorgbank branch of the USSR in Zurich (Switzerland).
From 1987 to 1990, he was General Director of the Donaubank Sovzabranbank in Vienna.
From January 1991 to November 2002 - Managing Director of the Austrian financial company IMAG, specializing in the purchase of Russian oil.
In 1991-2002, he was a full-time adviser to the Chairman of the Board of Vneshtorgbank .
On November 21, 2002, by a resolution of the meeting of shareholders of JSB Gazprombank, he was approved as the chairman of the board of Gazprombank (succeeded by Yuri Lvov). Since 2003, he has also been deputy chairman of the board of directors of Gazprombank (chairman - Alexey Miller ; another deputy is Mikhail Middle).
Since June 2003 - Member of the Board of Directors of SOGAZ OJSC.
Since July 2004 - Member of the Coordination Council of the Swiss company RosUkrEnergo , a joint venture of Gazprombank and the Austrian Raiffeisen Investment, created to supply Turkmen gas to Ukraine.
In August 2004, he appointed Evgeny Plyusnin, a former KGB / FSB officer, as the head of the Gazprombank HR department.
