Ignalina district [1] (Ignalina regional government; lit. Ignalinos rajono savivaldybė ) is part of the Utena county of Lithuania . The center is the city of Ignalina . As of 2005, 21,581 people lived in the district. The territory of 1447 square kilometers. On the territory of the district there is a large part of the Aukstein National Park .
