True as Steel is the third studio album of the West German rock band Warlock , released on August 18, 1986 by Vertigo Records . In commercial terms, True as Steel was a breakthrough for the group, getting into the Top 20 of the national charts (18th place) [1] . Also in 1986, the first Warlock video clip (for the song “Fight for Rock”) was released for the MTV channel [2] . After the tour in support of the album, bassist Frank Rittel and guitarist Peter Szigeti left the group, and Tommy Henriksen and Tommy Bolan respectively took their place.
