Andrei Nikolaevich Krasovskii (born 1953) is a Russian mechanical scientist, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences (1992), professor at the Department of Theoretical Mechanics (1994).

Biography
The son of academician N.N. Krasovsky . In 1975 he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics of UPI named after S. M. Kirov , specialty "Hoisting-and-transport machinery and equipment." After working at the Department of Theoretical Mechanics of the Ural State University (from 1975 to 1999) in April 1999 he was transferred to the USTU-UPI as the head of the department of multimedia technologies.
On September 1, 2011, he was accepted as a professor at the Department of Graphics and machine parts of the Ural State Agricultural Academy.
Scientific work
A highly qualified specialist in the field of mathematical theory of optimal control and a fairly new branch of this theory - differential games. A student of the academician of the RAS Yu. S. Osipov .
He defended his doctoral dissertation in the specialty 01.02.01 - Theoretical Mechanics at Moscow State University in 1992. The title of professor was awarded in 1994. Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Engineering Sciences and the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts.
The author of more than 90 scientific publications (including 4 monographs), including foreign ones. He participated in scientific conferences in the USA , Austria , South Korea , Hungary , etc. He completed a scientific internship in the city of Sarajevo (Yugoslavia) in 1986-1987. Participated in the Dynamic Systems project of the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in Laxenburg, Austria.
Academic Work
Professor A. N. KRASOVSKY at the Ural State Agricultural Academy gives lectures and conducts practical classes in the discipline "Theoretical Mechanics" for students of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization. He has experience in teaching the disciplines “Introduction to the specialty”, “Theoretical mechanics”, “Fundamentals of control theory”, “Management with a deficit of information”, “Probability theory and mathematical statistics”, “Mathematical analysis”, “Fundamentals of robotics” for university students from Ekaterinburg.
Supervises graduate students. Two defended their dissertations for the degree of candidate physical.-mat. Sciences in the specialty 05.13.18 - Mathematical modeling, numerical methods and program complexes of 2001 and 2010 Supervises the third-year postgraduate student. He is a member of the Scientific and Methodological Council on Theoretical Mechanics at the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the chairman of the city Scientific and Methodological Council of teachers of theoretical mechanics.
Community Work
He headed the organizing committees of the Finals of All-Russian Student Olympiads in Theoretical Mechanics, held in Yekaterinburg in 1995-2001. He headed the Chess clubs of USU (1990-1999) and USTU-UPI (UrFU) (1999-2011)
