Breathe Carolina

Breathe Carolina is an American electronic music ensemble from Denver , Colorado , consisting of David Schmitt, Eric Arment and Tommy Cooperman. So far the band has released four albums and seven EPs . In 2017, they took an additional 121 place in the list of the best DJs in the world according to DJ Magazine .

History

Kyle Even was born September 21, 1985 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado . David Schmitt was born on March 26, 1988, also in Colorado. Even's first band was “Keep this in Mind” along with musicians Kyle Knadson and Brant Faillo. Later, he was a member of the Rivendale group, along with musicians Adam Gallagos, Chris Heaton, Justin Price and Nate Miley. Schmitt played in a band called “As the Flood Waters Rose”, later called “The Autobiography”. Both groups often played together. Flood Waters Rose unveiled the Rivendale album released by the Grandpa's Music Box in Toronto. Both groups disbanded as members of their teams entered college and Evan and Schmitt organized their own duet .

Breathe Carolina appeared in 2007 in Denver , Colorado, starting with the songs recorded by Kyle Even and David Schmitt for their fans to the music created in the program GarageBand . Having opened a duet profile in MySpace , their songs were listened to 10,000 times in 2008 and about 30 million times in 2009 . [1] The name Breathe Carolina emerged from Schmitt’s dream in 9th grade [2] about a woman named Caroline. Breathe Carolina recorded her first album using the GarageBand program, and before it was released she signed a contract with Rise Records. The album included five new songs not included in Gossip, such as “The Introduction”, “No Vacancy”, “Show Me Yours”, “Classified”, “That's Classy” and “You Wish”. Only the track “Don't Forget: Lock The Door” was from Gossip EP and was not on LP . The album was released on September 16, 2008 after the tour for the promotion of this album. Breathe Carolina conducted her tour with the bands Every Avenue, Brokencyde and The Morning Of. During “The Delicious Tour” they announced that they would shoot a video for the song “Diamonds”. In the video, the group Millionaires and Josh White from Umbrella Clothing and This City Is Burning Records.

On August 18, 2009, people heard the second full-length album called Hello Fascination, for which Joshua (keyboards, guitar, backing vocals), Louis (music programming) and Eric (drums) joined the band. Clips were filmed for the IDGAF and Hello Fascination songs.

December 22, 2010 Fearless Records released a 30-second preview of the song Blackout. Soon after, a message appeared that the new album of the group would be called Hell Is What You Make It and will be available for listening on July 12, 2011. An EP was later released called Blackout: The Remixes.

On December 23, the band signed a contract with the record company Columbia Records .

On February 22, 2012, the group confirmed its participation in the Vans Warped Tour 2012.

May 21, 2012 on the site altpress.com premiere single, which was called Hit And Run. June 30, 2012 was announced the release of the reissue of the third studio album. The release was scheduled for July 10, 2012 and was named Hell Is What You Make It: RELOADED . In addition to the standard track list, 4 songs were added: Last Night (Vegas) vol.2, Reaching For The Floor, Hit And Run, Hit And Run (Wideboy remix) On the label Armada Music in 2015, the band released tracks like “ Anywhere But Home, Platinum Hearts and Stars & Moon.

After many singles and remixes, on July 19, 2016, Breathe Carolina announced a new EP titled “Sleepless”, which was set to release on September 16, 2016. The first single, “See The Sky”, recorded with Jay Cosmic and vocal by Haliene, was released a video clip on Spinnin 'Records , as well as the second single, “Stable”, recorded with Crossnaders. On December 23, 2016, the new EP “Oh So Hard” was released, in which four tracks: “Talisman”, “Atlantis”, “Break Of Dawn” and “Get Down”.
