German party

The German party ( German: Deutsche Partei , DP) is a political party in Germany and West Berlin. The predecessor is the German Hannover Party, which advocated the withdrawal of Hanover from Prussia. Functioned in 1945-1960. The main ideology is the opposition to land reform , a planned economy , the right path. Most deputies represented Lower Saxony . She had one deputy in the European Parliament. The German party from 1949 to 1960 was part of the coalition governments of West Germany, the ministers were Heinrich Gellweg (1949–1955), Hans-Joachim von Merkac (1955–1957), Hans-Christoph Seebom (1949–1960). In 1955-1959, G. Gellwege served as Prime Minister of Lower Saxony. In 1960, part of the party (including G. Gellweg and 9 of 17 deputies of the Bundestag , including G.-I. von Merkats and G.-K. Seebom) joined the CDU .
