Description

“The flag of the Tula urban settlement is a rectangular panel with a width-to-length ratio of 2: 3, reproducing the composition of the coat of arms of the Tula urban settlement in green, red, white and yellow colors.”

The heraldic description of the coat of arms reads: “ In a green field, an overturned silver rafter filled with scarlet and burdened with two silver, golden handles upward with bare swords crosswise, over which are a silver gun barrel to the belt, followed by two golden mallings (wooden hammers) above and below. Right and left rafter accompanied by two golden apples . "

Symbolization Justification

The flag of the Tula urban settlement reflects its historical and cultural traditions, as well as natural and geographical features.

The administrative center of the Tula city settlement - the settlement of Tula was founded in 1862 as the Egeruhaevskaya village. The status of the village settlement had more than a hundred years. In addition, the founders of the village were in their majority of the family of the Kuban Cossacks, this is reflected on the flag with two silver, golden handles upward, naked checkers crosswise.

In 1867, with the consent of Emperor Alexander II , the village of Egeruhaevskaya was renamed Tula in honor of the 72nd Tula Infantry Regiment , formerly located in the Caucasus, which is reflected in the flag of the Tula urban settlement by elements of the coat of arms of the Tula Infantry Regiment - two golden mallets (wooden hammers) and a silver rifle barrel.

The silver rafter symbolizes the Belaya River , which flows through the territory of the settlement and originates in the Caucasus Mountains.

Golden apples symbolize the Maikop tract located on the territory of the settlement and the small river of the same name, the banks of which were once covered with many wild apple trees. Maikop in Russian means - the mouth of the "apple" river. This is the place where the capital of the Republic of Adygea, the city of Maykop, got its name in the XIX century.

Red color is a symbol of beauty, courage and strength.

Green color symbolizes hope, nature, life, health.

Yellow ( gold ) is a symbol of strength, strength, generosity, sunlight and dawn.

White color ( silver ) - a symbol of simplicity, perfection, nobility, peace.
