Pteroloma sibiricum (lat.) Is a species of agyrtid beetles from the subfamily Pterolomatinae . It is distributed from Western Siberia southeast to the Magadan region , to Kamchatka , the south of Primorsky Krai and the island of Hokkaido ( Japan ) [1] . They live on the rocky shores of cold streams and in caves , in the forest zone [2] .

The body length of adult insects is 6-7 mm [2] . The body is black or brownish-black [2] . Representatives of this species are characterized by the following signs [1] :
- pronotum in anterior half with parallel lateral edges;
- the first two after the suture, the erytra small beards are clearly divided along their entire length;
- the apex of the male genitalia is pointed.
