Biography
She was born in the family of a Soviet soldier and opera singer. She studied at a secondary school ( Frunze ), from the 3rd class - at the Vaganova Ballet School ( Leningrad ). Then she graduated from the acting department of GITIS named after A. Lunacharsky in Moscow , worked as an actress in the Naryn Music and Drama Theater .
In 1966, she entered the directors' department of GITIS and graduated in 1971, after which she worked as an actress at the Kyrgyz State Academic Drama Theater . Since 1974 - director in the same theater.
In the performances of O. Yerkimbayeva, the leading artists of the 1970s played: Sovetbek Zhumadylov (Ezop in “Aesop”; Podkolesin in “Marriage”), Dzhamal Seydakmatova (Agafya Tikhonovna in “Marriage”), Zoya Moldobaeva (Kruchinina in “Without blame” ), Tattybyubyu Tursunbaeva (Maria), Sabira Kumushalieva (Galchikha in “Marriage”), Gulsara Adzhibekova, Egemberdi Bekboliyev (Aldemaro in “Dance Teacher”), Baken Kydykeeva (Mother Dolores in “Mother” Chapeka).
