History
"Alligator" was laid at the shipyard of the plant "V. Creighton & Co. ”on Okhta in St. Petersburg in October 1905 . In 1907, she was enlisted in the fleet; on May 3 ( 16 ), 1908 she was launched. Since September 1908 it was tested with completion, in November 1909 it was officially accepted into the treasury, but until August 1911 it was finalized, tested and completed.
In fact, she began her service in 1912. The beginning of World War I met in Revel ( Tallinn ) as part of the 2nd submarine division. During the years of the war, she made 12 military campaigns, spent 33 days at sea, including 21 days in combat positions, and made 4 torpedo attacks with the release of 10 torpedoes.
