Career
Christian Chavez is the son of an Argentinean and a Paraguayan [1] . He began his career in the club of the second Argentine division , “Brown” (Adrogue) , where he made his debut in the first team in 2006. The following year, the footballer was sold to San Lorenzo . On March 7, 2008, he played the first match for a new team in which his club defeated Racing 1-0. In the same year, he scored a goal in the Libertadores Cup against Real Potosi . In 2009, the player was rented by the Godoy-Cruz club, for which he spent 35 matches and scored 3 goals. Chavez spent the next year on loan again, this time at the club Atletico Tucuman , where he went with Fabio Ramos [4] . In July 2011, Chavez returned to San Lorenzo
On August 14, 2011, Christian moved to the Italian club Napoli [5] , who paid 3 million euros for the transfer of the midfielder [6] . On October 1, he made his debut at the club, replacing Esekiel Lavessi in a match with the Internationale ; the meeting ended with a Neapolitan victory 3-0 [7] .
