Moreover, according to Tolstoy, the banal name was imposed on her by the publishing house: she intended to give the name to the collection based on her other story - “The Okkerville River” (which she realized twelve years later, in 1999 ).
- On October 20, 2010, the Presidium of the Union of Russian Modifiers on the occasion of the memory of V. I. Dahl awarded Tatyana Nabatnikova the title "Honorary Modifier of the Russian Federation" for creating certified translations of novels by modern German writers. [3]
Contemporaries about Tatyana Nabatnikova
Zakhar Prilepin , 2007 :
What Tatyana Nabatnikova writes and says is presented kindly (to the listener and the reader) and very restrained, it is usually precisely formulated, it is made up of seemingly simple cubes - but try to say, write, live - in this here is beautiful simplicity ...
And here are two more words: I talked with many writers, but only a few, maybe two of them expressed those clear and sensitive thoughts that I would like to formulate myself, first, before them. This admission would seem like a dubious compliment if it were a compliment. But this is not a compliment, I think so.
The most amazing thing is that the second person is a woman ... The devil knows what’s going on. Either with women, or with men, or with someone else. [four]
