The family of the nobles Chaleyevs was recorded by the Provincial Nobility Deputy Assembly in the sixth part of the noble ancestry book of the Kostroma province of the Russian empire and was approved by the Gerold of the Governing Senate in the ancient (noble) nobility [3] .
