Biography
Born on June 25, 1964 in Eurajoki .
From February 11, 1994 to April 15, 1999 he was in the position of the Minister of Education of Finland.
From April 15, 1999 to September 1, 2000 - Minister of Transport, and from September 1, 2000 to January 4, 2002 - Minister of Transport and Communications of Finland.
Since February 2002, he has headed the state broadcaster YLE . He considers the culmination of his career in the YLE Eurovision Song Contest 2007 , when Yuleisradio was the host of the contest after the victory of Lordi .
On February 1, 2012 he was appointed to the post of State Secretary of the Prime Minister of Finland, Jyrka Katainen [1] .

Married He has three children (two sons and a daughter).
