The station is located on a double-track section of the line and has one island platform. Two turnstile halls are located on mezzanines, each of which leads to two stairs. There is also an escalator at the station. Only the exit to Madison Street is open around the clock - Rutgers Street is not always open. Previously, there was another way out - on Henry Street . Now the mezzanine of this exit is converted into a technical room. The station is not equipped with elevators.
Some stairs lead to an intermediate level. This level was to be used for the IND Worth Street Line as an IND development. But this line remained “on paper”.
