Laila Amaria Ali ( Eng. Laila Amaria Ali ; December 30, 1977 , Miami Beach , Florida , USA ) is a former American professional boxer , daughter of Mohammed Ali from his third wife Veronica Porsche. In professional boxing she spent 24 fights, won in all, 21 times by knockout . Leila wore IBA , WIBA and IWBF world champion titles.

Sports career
Leila held her first professional ring fight on October 8, 1999 against April Flowers. It took her just 31 seconds to defeat her rival by knockout. She held her tenth fight on June 8, 2001, against Jacqueline "Jackie" Fraser-Layd , daughter of her father’s famous adversary, Joe Fraser . Promoters actively promoted this fight as the fourth Ali-Fraser standoff [3] and made it the first Pay-Per-View in women's boxing history. Leyla won the decision of the judges. On November 8, 2002, having defeated Valerie Mafood, she gathered the IBA , WIBA and IWBF world champion titles. Subsequently, she held several successful title defenses and ended her career in 2007 undefeated. At the same time, throughout her career, Leila was criticized by other stars of female boxing, such as Ann Wolf and Natalya Ragozina , for avoiding meeting them in the ring [4] [5] .
Personal life
On August 27, 2000, Leyla Ali married Johnny McClain, who became her manager. At the end of 2005, they divorced.
On July 23, 2007, Leyla Ali married former NFL player Curtis Conway. [6] On August 26, 2008, she gave birth to a son, Curtis Mohammed Conway. On April 4, 2011, Leila gave birth to a daughter, Sidney Jaraldin Conway. Ali is the stepmother of Konoway's three children: twin sons Cameron and Kelton (born 1995) and daughter Leilani (born 1999).
On December 4, 2018, Ali became a member of a serious accident in Kalabasas , as a result of which a pedestrian was seriously injured. Ali accidentally crashed into an elderly man in his car, driving through the parking lot of a shopping center, which was delivered by ambulance to the hospital in a stable condition. She was not arrested, and the Sheriff’s Department is investigating this incident as an accident. [7]
