Enjijus megacephalus (lat.) - a species of sawflies from the family Pergidae . It is found in South America ( Brazil ). Larvae develop on the woody plant guayaia ( Psidium guajava L.; myrtle family , Myrtaceae ) for 9 days, after which they pupate in the soil. After 9-17 days, an adult appears. The only species of the genus Enjijus . It was originally described in the genus Acorduleceros . [3] .
