Monument to St. Cyprian Storozhensky in with. Digging of the Leningrad Region
Cyprian Storozhensky (Storozhevsky) - Russian Orthodox saint, reverend, lived in the XVI century [1] .
Memorial days: August 26, November 2 (old style).
According to legend, a former robber, a student of Andrian Andrusovsky . He founded the Nikolsko-Storozhensky Monastery on Lake Ladoga (currently Storozhno of the Volkhov District of the Leningrad Region) [2] [3] .
When he died, it is unknown. The relics are stored under cover in the monastery he founded [4] .
June 12, 2010 in Nadkopanie near the church in front of the Church of the Nativity of Christ a monument was erected to Cyprian Storozhensky [5] .
