In 2008, the local tennis player Laura Robson became the winner of the British Grand Slam singles tournament among girls.

General Information

For the seventh time in the history of the tournament, the representative of the UK becomes his champion.

Before Robson, the British last won here in 1984, when Annabelle Croft became the best, having won the second of her two Grand Slam tournaments in this category.
