Content

Biography

In 1958 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Steel ; in 1963 - graduate school of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Moscow University . In the same year he defended his thesis. He worked as a junior, then a senior researcher at the computer center of Moscow University. Since 1971, he has been working at the Institute of Control Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences: senior (then leading and principal) research officer, then head of laboratory. Doctor of Technical Sciences (1978).

He worked in universities in the USA, France, Italy, Israel, Taiwan and other countries. Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal Automation and Remote Control and a member of the editorial boards of 5 international journals. Member of dissertation and scientific councils, chairman of the section "Theories of automatic control" of the Institute of Automation of Russian Academy of Sciences

In 2012 he joined the initiative group for the creation of the Society of Scientists [1] .

Scientific Activities

The main work - on the theory of control and optimization. He is the author of 4 monographs, 180 articles in journals and over 150 reports at Russian and international conferences. He prepared more than 20 candidates and doctors of science.

Among the students - Yu. E. Nesterov .
