Content
Story
The main characters of the series are officers of the Chicago Police Department, who fight crime in the streets and try to end corruption in the city council. The new chief of police and the first woman in this post, Theresa Colvin, is fighting with alderman Gibbons, who secretly collaborates with the Irish mafia . Realizing that in this case she can only rely on verified people, Colvin entrusts the investigation to his former partner and experienced detective Jerec Vysotsky, who is distinguished by a difficult character. He is assisted by his new partner Caleb Evers and an officer under the guise of Chris Collier, who was introduced to the mafia.
Characters
- Jerec Vysoki ( Jason Clark ) is an experienced detective from the murder investigation department, who, due to his difficult character and high demands, could not find a partner for a long time. Previously, Teresa Colvin was a partner of Vysoki, with whom he maintained friendly relations. Dzherek is divorced, but still secretly meets his ex-wife, although he is engaged to a young beauty.
- Teresa Colvin ( Jennifer Beals ) is the first woman to be the chief of Chicago police. She took on a mission to clean up the city from corrupt officials.
- Caleb Evers ( Matt Loria ) - a young and talented detective, appointed as a partner Vysoki.
- Vonda Wysocki ( Devin Kelly ) is Jerec’s niece, recently graduated from the police academy and working as a patrol officer.
- Isaac Joyner ( Todd Williams ) - Vonda's partner, a young and ambitious officer.
- Chris Collier ( Billy Lash ) is a police officer introduced into the ranks of the Irish mafia under the name Liam Hennessy.
- Ronin Gibbons ( Delroy Lindo ) is an influential member of the Chicago City Council, secretly collaborating with the Irish Mafia.
