Fisvar [1] [2] [3] ( Persian فیشور ) is a small town in southern Iran , in the province of Fars . It is part of the shahrestan Larestan .

Geography
The city is located in the southern part of Fars, in the highlands of southeastern Zagros , at an altitude of 659 meters above sea level [1] . Fishwar is located approximately 225 kilometers southeast of Shiraz , the provincial capital, and 900 kilometers southeast (SSE) of Tehran , the country's capital.
Population
According to the census, in 2006 the population was 5 201 people [3] ; Persians (speakers of the Fishvari dialect) prevail in the national composition, and Sunni Muslims in the confessional.
