Biography

In 1972 he graduated with honors from the Moscow Energy Institute with a degree in Automation (MEI). He held various senior positions in Smolensk universities: head of the department of automation (later management and computer science, computer technology and management) and deputy director for research of the Smolensk branch of the Moscow Engineering Institute, head of the department of applied computer science and mathematics of the Smolensk branch of the Russian University of Cooperation , vice-rector for research of the Smolensk Institute business and entrepreneurship. With his direct participation, several thousand qualified specialists with higher education were trained.

For 10 years he took an active part in the work of the dissertation council of the Military Academy of the military air defense of the Russian Federation on the defense of dissertations for the degree of candidate and doctor of science.

Over the years of his scientific work, he was able to make a significant contribution to the development of a number of scientific fields: the theory of experiment planning, the theory of impulse control systems with random discretization, the theory of nonlinear control systems, the theory of artificial neural systems, the theory of fuzzy control systems, modeling socio-economic systems and processes, pattern recognition, decision theory, intelligent systems, and more.
