Zakharov, Yuri Mikhailovich

Yuri Mikhailovich Zakharov ( December 30, 1940 , Plast , Chelyabinsk Region - December 3, 2016 , Chelyabinsk ) - Soviet and Russian physiologist and hematologist, academician of RAMS (2000), academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2013). The author of more than 200 scientific articles, also with his participation 4 monographs, 7 textbooks, 2 manuals were written. Under his leadership, 11 doctors and 25 candidates of medical sciences were trained.

Biography

Born in the city of Plast, Chelyabinsk region in 1940. In 1958 he entered the Chelyabinsk Medical Institute, which he graduated in 1964. After graduation, followed by admission to graduate school, and in 1967 the Ph.D. thesis was defended. After that, the collection of material and work on the doctoral dissertation began, and already in 1974, the doctoral dissertation was defended. Then followed a period of work abroad. In the Republic of Guinea, Conakry Polytechnic Institute, as head of the Department of Medicine. In 1977, he returned to his homeland, and in 1979 he took the post of head of the department of normal physiology at the Chelyabinsk Medical Academy. In 1990, after meeting with Vladimir Suprun, he became a consultant to the newly created in Miass AMC-MZMO [1] , engaged in the production of cleanrooms

Scientific activity

In the course of his scientific activity, he discovered and experimentally substantiated the fundamental laws of intercellular short-rank regulation of erythropoiesis , including its features in erythroblastic islets of the bone marrow in normal, compensatory and inhibited states, and developed (together with M. Prehn) a technique for culturing erythroblastic islets outside the body; investigated the adaptation mechanisms of blood systems and human immunity to various climatic and geographical zones of the Earth (tropical climate, regions of Russia), which made it possible to formulate a concept about the relationship of the blood system and the geographical environment of a person.

Awards, prizes, honorary titles

He was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor , the distinction "For Merit to the Chelyabinsk Region" , the RAEN Silver Medal, the Pavlovsky Silver Badge of Honor of the MAN (KSD), and the Academician P. Anokhin Medal. He is an Honorary Doctor of Medicine at Bashkir State Medical University. Academician of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences , academician of the International Academy of Sciences ( Munich ), member of the New York Academy of Sciences, academician of the Russian Ecological Academy, head of the department of normal physiology of the Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy, president of the Ural regional branch of INTECO; Chairman of the Chelyabinsk branch of the All-Russian Physiological Society; Member of the Presidium, Chairman of the Scientific Council of Biomedical Problems of the Southern Urals, Chelyabinsk Scientific Center, Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences; Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation (1999) [3] ; awarded the silver medal to them. Academician Pavlov. Laureate of the National Prize “Vocation” (2008) in the nomination “For the creation of a new diagnostic method” - for the discovery of the laws of development of red blood cells and the creation of diagnostic tests.
