The Ashitkovs (the Oshitkovs were also written in antiquity ) is an old Russian noble family .

According to ancient chronicles, the noble family of this family name originates from the participant of the Smolensk campaign in 1634 , Fyodor Yakovlevich Ashitkov, whose son Nikifor Fedorovich was a local salary in 1670 and thus became the ancestor of the Ashitkov noblemen [1] .
The offspring of Nikifor Fedorovich Ashitkov was recorded by the Provincial Noble Assembly in the VI part of the noble genealogy of the Kostroma province of the Russian Empire and approved by the Herald of the Governing Senate in the ancient nobility [1] .
Emblem Description
The shield, divided into two, has a small apex of blue color with the image of three silver hexagonal stars in it, and the bottom half is voluminous, in which a silver saber, a gun and a gold spear are placed crosswise in the right black and left red.
The shield is crowned with a noble helmet with a noble crown on it and three ostrich feathers. The mark on the shield is red and blue, lined with silver. The coat of arms of this noble family was recorded in Part VI of the General Tombstone of the noble families of the All-Russian Empire , page 115 [2] .
