The Vasilevichsky district is an administrative-territorial unit within the Byelorussian SSR that existed in 1926-1927 and 1938-1959. Center - village (since 1950 - urban village) Vasilevichi.

Vasilevichsky district was formed in 1926 as part of the Rechitsa district . In June 1927, in connection with the liquidation of the Rechitsa District, it was transferred to the Gomel District , and in August it was abolished.
In 1938, the Vasilevichsky district was reinstated as part of the Polessky region .
As of January 1, 1947, the district had an area of 0.7 thousand km². It consisted of 15 village councils: Babichsky, Vasilevichsky, Dubrovsky, Zelenochsky, Zolotushsky, Koropatichsky, Lipovsky (center - the village of Mnogozersh), Liskovsky, Mokanovichsky, Nakhovsky, Pervomaisky, Svedsky, Uznozhsky, Khobnensky, Chkalovsky.
As a result of the liquidation of the Polessie region in 1954, the Vasilevichi district was transferred to the Gomel region . In September 1959, the district was abolished, and its territory was divided between the Kalinkovichi and Rechitsa regions.
