Content

History

In 2000, a group of local residents came up with the initiative to build a church. They created the Orthodox community. In 2002, work began on the construction of a wooden church of the Icon of the Mother of God “ Three Hands ”. In 2004, the temple was consecrated; later, the main dome with a cross was installed on the temple [1] . In 2005, the side chapel of John of Damascus was arranged in the church [2] .

Later, a large five-domed stone temple [1] with a bell tower is planned to be built on the territory of the complex.

Interior

The temple has a wooden carved iconostasis made in the Greek city of Thessaloniki . Shrines of the temple - the icon of the Mother of God “ Three Hands ”, the icon of St. John of Damascus , the icon of the great martyr Panteleimon and the ark with particles of his relics [1] .
