Professional career
Milwaukee Bucks (1994-2002)
Robinson was selected in the 1994 NBA Draft under the common first number by Milwaukee Bucks . The team entered into a ten-year contract with him for $ 68 million, which is still considered the largest contract for NBA newcomers. In his debut season, he was twice called the rookie of the month and, according to the results of the season, he was included in the first national team of the NBA . At the club, he performed with players such as Vin Baker , Ray Allen and Sam Cassell and in 2001 helped the team reach the finals of the Eastern Conference , where they lost to Philadelphia 76 . On February 24, 2005, he was exchanged at the New Orleans Hornets for Rodney Rogers and Jamal Mashburn , but the new club immediately abandoned him.
San Antonio Spurs (2005)
On April 5, 2005, Robinson signed a contract with the San Antonio Spurs . With the new team, he won the 2005 NBA champion title, leaving mostly for replacements in playoff games.
