Rene Tinner and CAN-Studio

Since 1978, Tinner begins his career as a producer in the legendary CAN-Studio (formerly Inner Space Studio ), located in Wylersswist (near Cologne ). The studio was converted in 1972 from a former cinema hall, and for a long time served as a rehearsal room and a recording studio for the Cologne Kraut rock band Can (Tinner worked with the group as a sound engineer and sound engineer). After the band collapsed, the studio began to generate revenue thanks to the popularity of Joachim Witt's Der goldene Reiter record, produced by Tinner. Tinner's next commercially successful collaboration was working with the popular German artist Marius Müller-Westernhagen , who invested in a major refurbishment of the studio (CAN-Studio co-investor, former Can bassist Holger Schukai reacted to this intervention by selling his share for a symbolic German brand ). In 2007, CAN-Studio was integrated into the Rock and Pop Museum of Gronau. As part of the museum, the studio was opened on November 9, 2007 with the exposition of Can: Das Studio - Magie und Technik (Can: Studio - Magic and Technology). The opening ceremony was attended by members of Can and Rene Tinner.
