Biography

Stepan Petrovich Gorbunov was born on August 17, 1902 in the village of Ekaterinink, Verkhotursky district, Perm province of the Russian Empire (now the village of Ivdelsky city district of the Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation ) in a family of gold mining workers.
