History
The title “Honorary Citizen of Kineshma” was first mentioned before the Revolution . It is known that honorary citizens were city philanthropists - manufacturers Ivan Alexandrovich Mindovsky and Ivan Alexandrovich Konovalov . In 1917, the title “Honorary Citizen” was abolished by a decree of the Soviet government. But in the 1970s, tradition was resumed.
