Dickson Land ( Norwegian. Dickson Land ) - part of the territory of the island of Western Svalbard ( Svalbard archipelago , Norway ).
Dixon land is located in the central part of the island between Isfjord and Wiidefjord . It is a peninsula sandwiched between two branches of Isfjord - Billefjord and Diksonfjord . Named after Oscar Dixon (1823–1897), a Swedish tycoon who financed many Arctic expeditions [1] .
