Geography
Located 110 km southeast of Barnaul on the Yeltsovka River, the height above sea level is 298 m [3] . The nearest settlement is Novoelovka , about 7 km to the west.
The main street of the village is in the lowlands, on the banks of the Yeltsovka River, which flows through the entire village; the rest is on the plains.

Infrastructure
In the village are the Yeltsovskaya secondary school [6] , the post office [7] , KFOR, and the kindergarten Yagodka. Several peasant farms and cooperatives work [8]

There are four streets in the village:
- Lenin street (central, most populated)
- Molodezhnaya street (on a hill)
- Zarechnaya street (on the opposite bank of the Yeltsovka river, the most sparsely populated)
- Komsomolskaya street.
