Biography
Representative of an ancient noble family Bezobrazovyh . Born February 2 ( 14 ), 1859 in St. Petersburg in the family of academician, economist and senator V.P. Bezobrazov and writer E. D. Bezobrazova (nee Maslova). Brother of the philosopher, historiographer, teacher, journalist and public figure M.V. Bezobrazova and chamberlain D.V. Bezobrazov .
He began to study at the Karl May gymnasium (until 1870), then studied at the Tsarskoye Selo gymnasium , which he graduated with a gold medal in 1879 and entered the historical and philological faculty of St. Petersburg University .
In the fall of 1883, a university graduate was sent to Turkey, Greece and Italy by the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society to familiarize themselves with Greek manuscripts stored in libraries and collections in the East, Greece and Italy. I examined the manuscript collections of Constantinople and its environs - the library of the Jerusalem Compound, Sillog (Constantinople Scientific Society), a theological school on the island of Halki , and a commercial school on the same island.
