Location
The street runs mainly from north to south. It starts at the intersection of Nikolai Ershov and Patrice Lumumba streets and ends at the intersection of Otradnaya and Richard Sorge streets. It was reported about the plan for the reconstruction of the road section from the Guards to Cosmonauts with the construction of a traffic intersection at the intersection of Ershov - Guards streets [2] .
Traffic
The roadway is mostly two lanes in each direction. There is a dividing strip with tram tracks. The abundance of public transport led to the creation of dedicated lanes for buses and trolleybuses, however, the allocation of lanes for public transport is possible only if there are at least 4 lanes in one direction, which led to the cancellation of the allocated lanes [3] .
History
A roundabout was organized at the intersection of Gvardeiskaya – Adela Kutuya streets until 2006, but then this intersection was reconstructed and turned into a regular intersection with a traffic light [4] .
