Kylie: The Videos

The video collection consisted of four video clips for Kylie songs and a small video interview with the singer. The authors of all the songs were the famous production trio of Stoke, Aitken and Waterman . The director of all the videos was Chris Langman, and the producer was Andrew McVitti.

1. The Loco-Motion

The video was shot in Australia , at the Essendon Airport in Melbourne, as well as in the ABC studio.

2. I Should Be So Lucky

The video clip for the song was shot in November 1987 at the 7 Studios Melbourne studio. In the clip, the episodes in which the singer moves around her house are replaced by editing interruptions , where she dances against the background of a blackboard painted with colorful crayons. The video for the song creates the image of a cute prudent young girl from a neighboring house, giggling and making funny faces in front of the camera.

3. Got to Be Certain

The shooting took place in Melbourne in April 1988. In total, four episodes were shot: in a city park, a photo workshop, on a balcony of a skyscraper and a dance scene in a coffee shop. The combination of frames from these episodes forms the visual series of the video clip for the song.

4. Je Ne Sais Pas Pourquoi

The entourage of the video recreates the atmosphere of Paris in the 1940s or 1950s. According to the plot, Minogue expects his lover in the rain, and when he does not come, he goes to a cafe. The singer is dressed in a blue dress and angora wool cardigan , her hair is laid in waves. In the chorus, this picture changes to a dance scene on the street. A minogue in a dress with floral patterns dances in tandem with a young man. The scene is shot in black and white, and the singer is the only color object on the screen.
