Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces is the fourth studio album of the South African post-grunge band Seether , released in Switzerland and South Africa on October 19, 2007, and the world release took place on October 23, 2007. The album debuted in ninth place on the Billboard 200 charts . In the first week, 56,900 copies of the album were sold in the United States [6] . In total, more than 500,000 copies were sold in the United States, and the album became "gold" [7] .

Three singles, “Fake It”, “Rise Above This” and “Breakdown”, despite negative reviews from critics, reached the top of the Billboard charts , gaining 39% positive reviews on Metacritic [8] . In 2009, the album was reissued, it included the fourth single, a cover version of George Michael 's hit “ Careless Whisper ”. This is the first Seether album, which became "gold" in their homeland, in South Africa.

Cover
The cover design was designed by artist David Ho, who worked on the cover for Infected Mushroom 's Vicious Delicious album. Both covers depict one image: the ghost of Candice ( born Candice the Ghost ) [9] .
In the lower right corner of the cover depicts the Chinese character 美, which can be translated as "beauty" or "America" [10] . The name of the album [11] is written on top of the hieroglyph.
