The album name is taken from the first line of the song “Sure Was Good” ^[1] The album consists of 9 songs recorded at the Cock of the Walk Studios and 3 live songs. The live songs were recorded during the band's performance at the world's largest biker bar, Full Throttle Saloon, during an annual motorcycle rally in Sturgis , South Dakota .

Jackyl singer / guitarist Jesse James Dupree, who owns the studio Cock of the Walk, took over sound recording and mixing the album.

The songs "Scare the Devil Outta You" and "Memphis Special" became bonus tracks. They were produced by the band and recorded at Brannon Productions, located in Atlanta , Georgia .
