Lomonosovs are an old Russian noble family , dating back to the first half of the 17th century [1] .

One of the brightest representatives of this family is Sergey Grigorievich (1799-1857), the envoy in the city of The Hague .
The clan was introduced by the Provincial Noble Deputy Assembly in the VI part of the noble ancestry book of the Tambov province of the Russian Empire and was approved by the Gerold of the Governing Senate in the ancient (pillar) nobility [1] .
Emblem Description
There is a scarlet heart in a silver shield pierced from below to the left side with a golden oriental sword.
The shield is crowned with a noble crowned helmet. Crest : Lomonos plant between two black eagle wings. The mark : chervlёny, is enclosed on the right with silver, on the left with gold. Supporters : two golden lions with scarlet eyes and tongues. The coat of arms of the noble family of Lomonosov was recorded in Part XVI of the General Armorial of the noble families of the All-Russian Empire , page 21 [2] .
