History
The district was formed on January 18, 1935 as part of the Saratov Territory (since 1936 - in the Saratov Region ).
According to the administrative map of the Saratov region in 1956, the district united the settlements of Novorepnoye , Osinov Gai , Upper Uzen , Zernova , Zolotukha , Orlov Gai , 2nd Pyatiletka , Chertanla [3] . According to the administrative map of the Saratov region in 1939, the district also included settlements not indicated on the administrative map of 1956: Trudovoye , Yagodny , Bednyak, Belenky, Mavrinka , Mikhailovka , Novaya Beryozovka, farms No. 1 and No. 2 of the Second Pyatiletka state farm [4] .
May 19, 1960 the area was abolished [5] . The settlements that were part of the district are currently part of the Ershov , Dergachev and Novouzensky districts of the Saratov region.
