Biography
Aleksei Georgievich Petrishchev was born on April 2, 1924 in the workers' settlement Novye Kaydaki, now in Dnepropetrovsk in a working class family.
By the beginning of World War II, Petrishchev had completed nine classes. During the occupation of Dnepropetrovsk, he worked as a laborer at one of the city’s plants.
In 1949 he graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Chemical-Technological Institute , after which he was sent to the Chernorechensk Chemical Plant named after M. I. Kalinin ( Dzerzhinsk , Gorky Region ), where until 1956 he worked as a foreman, senior foreman, deputy head of the mechanical workshop, mechanic of the ammonia workshop , deputy chief mechanic, chief mechanic.
From 1956 to 1958, Alexander Georgievich Petrishchev was on a business trip to the People's Republic of China , where he worked as the chief mechanic for setting up equipment at the Girinsky chemical plant being built with the help of the USSR, however, with the aggravation of relations between the USSR and the People's Republic of China, Petrishchev returned to the plant, where he worked from 1959 to 1962 party committee secretary, and from 1962 to 1970 - director. During the work of Petrishchev as director, the plant was rebuilt, its own construction base was organized. Attention was also paid to housing construction, the need for preschool institutions was eliminated, the Korund palace and the Blue Oka dispensary were built in the city, and residents of the industrial Kalinin village were relocated from barracks to apartments.
Since November 1970, he worked as the head of the Main Directorate (All-Union Association) of the nitrogen industry of the USSR Ministry of Chemical Industry .
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 20, 1971, Alexei Georgievich Petrishchev was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Hammer and Sickle medal .
From 1977 to 1980, he worked as deputy chairman of the USSR Gosnab , and from November 5, 1980 to August 30, 1986, he was the minister for the production of mineral fertilizers of the USSR .
He lived in Moscow . Alexey Georgievich Petrishchev died on August 30, 1986. He was buried at the Novodevichy cemetery in Moscow.
From 1981 to 1986, he was a candidate member of the CPSU Central Committee . Member of the Council of the Union of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 7th , 8th , 10th and 11th convocations (1966-1974 and 1979-1989) from the Georgian SSR [1] . The delegate of the XXIII and XXVII congresses of the CPSU .
Memory
In Dzerzhinsk , a street was named after Petrishchev; a memorial plaque was installed on the house in which he lived.
